Meet Zaza Read to Me
My Journey
Zion "Zaza" Phillips developed her love of reading before entering Kindergarten. She also loved watching Read-Alouds from her favorite YouTube channels. Recognizing her special ability, she requested to start a YouTube channel to share her favorite stories. During Kindergarten, while still 5-years-old, she would rush home to record herself reading and watch it back. Finally, right before her 6th birthday, she posted her first video to her YouTube.
My Passions
In addition to reading and writing new stories, ZaZa is passionate about playing piano, learning about new cultures, and being on stage. She finds joy in studying French at school, her music and ballet classes, and recital season in general. Zion is also excited about acting, having attended theatre camps at Orlando Family Stage, Orlando Rep Theatre, and Dr. Phillips Performing Arts Center. She is a lover of the arts, sports, all things Disney, and spending time with her parents Kevin and Anuli.
My Achievements
Over the years, she has achieved many milestones in her personal and professional life. Some of her proudest achievements include becoming a member of the High IQ society Mensa International, recieving the esteemed Certificate of Excellence from her Orange County School Board members, and confidently skipping 1st grade. She is excited about what the future holds! Her short and long-term goals include winning the Spelling Bee and becoming a Veterinarian - her life long dream.
